Overview

The works comprised the shell only design and construction of a new build drive-through café unit for Starbucks, including car parking, landscaping and ancillary works.

The unit was designed and constructed in accordance with the tenant’s brief and programme requirements, with the tenant’s own specialist fit out contractor managing the internal fit out and signage package following completion of the main build.

Our Role

Employer’s Agent:

  • Acting as the client’s representative throughout the design and construction phases 
  • Managing project delivery against the contract and programme 
  • Coordinating communication between all stakeholders 
  • Monitoring compliance with the employer’s requirements 

 

Quantity Surveyor:

  • Pre-contract cost planning and value engineering 
  • Preparation of tender documentation and contract negotiation 
  • Management of costs against the clients bespoke Terms & Conditions Contract 
  • Cost control and forecasting during construction 
  • Monthly valuations, change control and final account negotiation
