Overview

Armsons Barlow provided Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services on a 40No. apartment block project at Tile Hill in Coventry. The project comprised 16No. one-bedroom and 24No. two-bedroom apartments with associated external works and car parking.

The scheme was programmed for completion within 62-weeks and units had been pre-let based on this completion date. The scheme was delivered successfully ahead of schedule and on budget.

Our Role

Employer’s Agent:

Acting as the client’s representative throughout the design and construction phases
Coordinating communication between all stakeholders
Monitoring compliance with the employer’s requirements
Contract administration

Quantity Surveyor:

Pre-contract cost planning and value engineering
Preparation of due diligence reports
Cost control and forecasting during construction
Monthly valuations, change control and final account negotiation
