Overview

Armsons Barlow provided Project Management and Quantity Surveying services of a Tenant Fit Out within a refurbished warehouse. Our services were provided over a two-year period, assisting GXO and their client with their design, procurement and delivery.

The scope of works included; VNA racking, sprinklers, heating, lighting, office fit out etc

The project included the design and build of specialist items such as enhanced office extensions, fit out, refrigeration and freezer chambers with new equipment, racking and sprinklers.

Our Role

Project Management:

  • Acting as the client’s representative throughout the design and construction phases 
  • Managing project delivery against the contract and programme 
  • Chairing and minuting all progress meetings 
  • Coordinating communication between all stakeholders 
  • Monitoring compliance with the employer’s requirements 

 

Quantity Surveyor:

  • Pre-contract cost planning and value engineering 
  • Preparation of tender documentation and contract negotiation 
  • Cost control and forecasting during construction 
  • Monthly valuations, change control and final account negotiation
