Armsons Barlow provided Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveying services in relation to a new build boutique spa for Breedon Priory Holdings. The spa was named the UK’s Best Boutique Spa of the Year at the World Spa & Wellness Awards and was crowned as the best in the country, less than one-year after opening.
The state-of-the art facility opened in the small Leicestershire hamlet of Wilson in June 2022 and boasts four thermal cabins, three experience showers, hot tubs, a slumber room and two outdoor pools. The spa is positioned in 24-acres of countryside and was constructed with sustainability at its heart.
The spa was designed and constructed to be 96% energy efficient, water is supplied from its own borehole and it utilises air source heat pump technology.
